1 Thing

The idea behind the 1 campaign is quite simple…by making 1 small change, 1 at a time, each 1 of us can help the environment. Sounds like a great idea, right?!  But you may be thinking “1 small change by 1 individual isn’t going to save the world.  I mean really, what can 1 individual do?” Well, don’t worry, we’re obviously not asking you to single-handedly save the world, we’re asking you to think about your environmental impact.  Because, believe it or not, when it comes to the environment, every 1 thing counts. And if a lot of people start thinking about their environmental impact, we’ll be a lot better off. We know it’s crazy math but 1+1 can equal infinity. Convinced? We hope so.

So…what are some 1 things you can do?

Take 1 less trip in a car every week
Switch off 1 light you usually leave on
Unplug 1 power-sucking piece of equipment when you’re not using it
Invest in 1 cloth bag and use it instead of plastic bags
Change 1 regular light bulb to a compact fluorescent light bulb
Buy 1 reusable water bottle…and reuse it
Cut 1 minute off your shower time
Support 1 local farmer by buying local produce and meats
Tell 1 other person about the 1 campaign
Do 1 other thing that makes a positive difference on the environment
